Starling completed for Fan Expo, prints available.
Wow first day of Fan Expo Canada down. Thank you so much to everyone that came by to say hi and show support. It’s been great catching up, meeting new people and putting faces to names! For those who have not made it out, reminder that I’m at A404 (yes as in the not found error). See you guys there!
Art imitating [my] life… can’t get hair right… throw a scarf on it and call it a night… No this is not a final, just a glimpse into my working process.
Yes a few tweaks to go but you will have to come visit me at Fan Expo Canada, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, to see it all shiny! I’m at table A404 in the artist alley (with the lovely and talented Deena)!
I’ve been terrible at posting lately so here is a teaser for the Aquaman and Mera piece I’m working on for August’s Fan Expo! Now just to finish it. If you don’t see a final piece up here Sunday night send me pm motivations.
An illustration for TIFF’s 180 summer program guide called TOGA! The Reinvention of the American Comedy.
I jammed quite a few characters from a crazy number of films in here. Definitely a challenge. A huge thank you to my awesome Art Director David Gee for helping me with this. Since it’s so big, I included some detail shots too, hope you guys like it!
My awesomely talented friend and convention tablemate!
Little girl dressed as Stan Lee at Motor City Comic con!!!
More late night sketching in SketchBook Pro. Favourite thing about new programs is exploration and being forced to work up images in a different way than I normally would. Messing around and watching Hannibal.
